Melody McGee is creative to the core. She is a true Carolina girl! She’s a graduate of Winston-Salem State University. Born in Greenville, NC and raised in Raleigh, NC.
She’s always been a leader throughout her career. Now, it’s time for Mel to lead in her own space. She was born to create, she just can't help it. She's been creating different items since about the age of 8. Whether it was drawings, creating custom key chains, t-shirts or cars out of cardboard boxes...you name it! Even though she would get new toys, she'd rather play with the boxes they came in. This childhood passion has turned into so much more.
Creativity and customization have always been her passion. It mostly started after wanting to spruce up something around the house while also saving money. Often times she would turn to the experts for guidance and just add her own creative touch. Now, she has become the expert. A lot of her inspiration comes from JoAnna Gaines of HGTV's Fixer Upper. She welcomes you to join the Melo Customs journey.
